POLICIES, PROCEDURES & FEES

Registration and Tuition

    • Dancers will be registered for the entire year with two payment options :
      • Four Quarterly Payments or Two Semi Annual payments.   (See payment schedule below )
    • All payments are due at the time of registration, including the $30.00 annual registration fee per dancer unless Family Discount applies.
    • No Refunds, or Credits are given unless class is cancelled by Envision due to insufficient enrollment and an alternate class is not available.
    • Late fee of $15.00 will be charged for any tuition received  5 days after due date.
  • Returned checks will be charged a $35.00 fee.

Quarterly Pricing:

30 Min Class    –    $96.00

45 Min Class    –    $120.00

60 Min Class    –    $144.00

75 Min Class    –    $168.00

90 Min Class    –    $192.00

Registration Fee per Dancer $30.00 / $15.00 each additional Dancer

 

Payment Schedule

First Quarter & First Semi Annual:  Due at registration            (September 11th   –  November 4th )

Second Quarter: Due October 30th                                             (November 6th  –  January 20th )

Costume Payment: Due November 7th

Third Quarter & Second Semi Annual:  Due January 15th  (January 22nd  –  March 17th )

Fourth Quarter: Due March 12th                            (March 19th   –  May 19th )

May 21st   thru May 24th   May be used for Extra rehearsals or make-ups as need.   

 

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

First Dancer in Family $30.00 Registration Fee, each additional dancer $15.00 registration Fee

5% discount for 3 or more classes per family.

 

ATTENDANCE

Students are encouraged and expected to attend classes regularly, it is important to a student’s  growth and the curriculum of the class. Please call Studio regarding any absences. Please arrive on time and ready to dance so all classes can begin as scheduled in a timely manner.

 

CLASS PLACEMENT

Class placement will be determined at time of registration based on age and experience. Instructors will evaluate during the first two weeks of class if there is any question about students  level  adjustments will be made at that time.

 

SUBSTITUTES

We are proud to have a professional faculty who are still appearing and performing with their respected ensembles. Occasionally their professional duties take them away from our classrooms substitutes will be from our existing faculty or a substitute may be a colleague of that teacher. In either case they will be approved by our staff then briefed on class so that progression can continue in that class.

FOOD & DRINK

  • No food or gum or drinks besides water allowed in Studios.
  • Students are encouraged to bring water bottles to class.  For your convenience we  do have bottled water for sale at front desk.
  • Absolutely  NO NUT PRODUCTS   are permitted in studios, kitchen, dressing rooms etc.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER & CLOSURE POLICIES

If School Districts are closed for inclement weather, make sure to call Envision before assuming we are closed as well.  We will notify via Email, Text and on our Website/Facebook pages for any studio closings due to weather or emergency.

Any missed classes due to inclement weather maybe made up in a similar level or style class. Any questions please stop by the front desk.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

Envision will be Closed the following dates:

Thanksgiving Break November 20th – November 25th

Winter Break December 23rd –   January 7th

Spring Break March 24th – April 1st

Memorial Day May 26th – May 28th

DANCE ATTIRE

All students must attend all classes in appropriate attire stated below or requested by the teacher.

Female Dancers:

Ballet, Pointe: Black leotard, Pink tights, pink ballet shoes, Pointe shoes when applicable, Hair in a Bun and pinned away from face.

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary:  Tight fitting dance shorts or pants, tight fitting tops, Jazz shoes, Hair needs to be pulled back away from face.  (check with teacher on shoe color for Dance Showcase)

Hip Hop: Comfortable clothing ( sweats, basketball shorts, t-shirt, leggings,

New Gym shoes (No street shoes allowed in studios ) No Jeans.

Tap: Comfortable clothing, Tap shoes, hair pulled back away from face. (Dance clothes are preferred), No Jeans

Arco: Leotard, unitard, or fitted dance top and fitted shorts. Bare feet

Creative Movements: Any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, hair needs to be pulled back away from face.  

Ballet/Jazz: Any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black jazz shoes, hair needs to be pulled back away from face.

Ballet/Tap: Any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black Tap shoes. Hair needs to be pulled back away from face.

 

Male Dancers:

Ballet: White T-shirt, Black pants, Black Ballet shoes

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary: T-shirt, Black Pants or shorts that allow for movement (not baggy)

Hip Hop: Comfortable clothes, (sweats, basketball shorts ) New gym shoes ( No street shoes allowed in studios), No Jeans.

Tap: Comfortable clothes, Tap shoes. No Jeans

Creative Movements: T-shirt, pants or shorts that allow movement.

Ballet/Jazz: T-shirt, pants or shorts that allow movement, black Ballet and black Jazz shoes.

Ballet/Tap: T-shirt, pants or shorts that allow movement, black Ballet and black Tap shoes.

Please label all shoes and belongings. Envision will not be responsible for lost or missing items.

 

DANCE SHOWCASE

Envision Dance will offer a Dance Showcase in Late Spring for all classes unless otherwise noted. All students in eligible classes are encouraged to participate in the Showcase.  Information regarding participation in this event will be handed out in the early part of the year. Students are not required to participate, but it is highly recommended.

Tentative Showcase dates for 2018:     June 2nd and June 3rd

Costumes

All classes participating in Dance Showcase will be required to purchase a costume for this performance. Costume payments will be due on November 13th and are $95.00 per costume.  Specific tights and shoes will also be required and will need to be purchased on your own.  Any costume payments received after November 27th will incur $20.00 late fee to cover rush orders and shipping fees.

 

CLASS SIZES

Class size limits will be determined by age of students, studio size, and style of dance. We will keep classes at a size that ensures each dancer will receive the proper attention.  Larger classes will have a teaching assistant. If a class has reached full capacity, we will start a wait list and potentially open a second class.

Envision reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment.

 

MAKE-UP CLASSES

Absences due to illness or family emergency may be made up during the current term. If you need a recommendation for a make-up class please ask your current instructor. Please notify the front desk prior to attending any make-up classes.  No refunds will be given for missed classes.

 

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are available to all students starting in half hour increments.  For more information, please check at front desk for availability and fees for these.

OBSERVATION POLICY

Envision Dance will host observation week Dates TBA. At other times, parents may observe through the glass doors so long it is not a distraction to Dancers.
