Amanda is a 19 year old professional dancer from Chicago, IL. She grew up as a competition dancer, training mostly with Melissa Ridgway on Perseverance Dance Company. Since a young age, Amanda has won numerous awards at both regional and national competitions and conventions all over the country. She has been trained by many teachers growing up such as Sonya Tayeh, Mandy Moore, Stacey Tookey and Dee Caspary. She has taught at DeForest Dance Academy for 3 years and loves to motivate, inspire and challenge dancers.
She has choreographed for studios such as Steppin’ Out Dance Company and Turning Pointe Dance Company. At the age of 18, Amanda moved out to Los Angeles, California to pursue professional dancing and is now represented by Go 2 Talent Agency. There, she can be seen performing in the newest show in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios of Hollywood. She is also continuing with teaching at Independence Dance Company in North Hollywood. Amanda is a passionate dancer, teacher, and choreographer with hopes to share her love and appreciation for dance with as many people as she can.
