He graduated from Butler Tech School of the Arts in 2012 and attended Point Park University where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance with a concentration in Modern Dance. While attending Point Park, Jacob has had the privilege of training and performing a variety of works by José Limóne, Lar Lubovitch, Dwight Rhoden, Mark Morris, Kate Skarpetowska, David Parsons, Douglas Bentz, and served as dance/fight captain for Oklahama! under the direction of Patrick Cassidy. Jacobs teaching style derives from a strong influence in yoga, somatic work, contemporary partnering, anatomy, and composition. Jacob teaches his students to always keep passion, fire, and the poetic voice alive. Jacob cannot wait to begin his first season with Giordano Dance Chicago as a Junior Performing Associate!
