Kristin Pirc started dancing at an early age, beginning her technical dance training in ballet, jazz, and tap at Beth’s Dance Academy under the direction of Beth Lottino. Kristin started competing at age eight, and has traveled both regionally and nationally receiving numerous titles and top honors with Downstage Dance Company under the direction of Melissa Peterson. While at Downstage, Kristin began teaching jazz and technique classes to dancers of all ages. In the summer of 2010, Kristin was honored to be a part of Kate Jablonski’s off broadway show “Beyond Words” in New York City. Kristin has also been a performer for Lindy Wade, Gil Mata, and Kate Jablonski in the Choreographers Carnival Chicago. Kristin has had the opportunity to assist top choreographers such as Tyce Diorio, Robert Roldan, Kayla Radomski, Barry Youngblood, Chris Jones, Gregg Russell, and Judy Rice while assisting Co. Dance Competition.
Most recently, Kristin was a member of a Chicago based professional dance company, The Kate Jablonski Statement, where she is continuing her dance education and performed around the Chicagoland area. In addition to dancing and teaching, Kristin has also received her Associate Degree in Art with a full scholarship at Joliet Junior College. She is so happy to be able to share her passion and love of dance with her students!
